www.aanny.org 2012 PLEIN AIR ART EVENT- JULY 20, 21, 22 ART ASSOCIATION of NORTHERN NEW YORK (AANNY) SACKETS HARBOR, NY Entry Fee: $15 Adult 16 and over; $5 Youth 15 and under Pay by mail or at day of event: Mail to: AANNY, PO BOX 237, Sackets Harbor, NY 13685 Mail must be received by Saturday July 14, 2012 Register or sign in 8 AM to 5PM Friday, Saturday, 8AM to 10AM Sunday. Completely blank work surfaces must be stamped at sign in before work starts. Paint one, two or all three days. CASH AWARDS: 1st Place 40% of all entry fees collected 2nd Place 25% of all entry fees collected 3rd Place 15% of all entry fees collected SALES: All sales handled by AANNY, artists receive 70% of sales price, 30% to AANNY At any time during the three day event bidders may write down a bid at artists workstations with a phone number to call if bidder cannot be at final auction. Judging at 2:30 PM Sunday July 22nd at the Sackets Harbor Arts Center. Final Auction at about 3PM- ends 10 minutes after judges announce winners. A limit of three works may be submitted for judging. All work submitted for judging must be for sale and have a minimum bid on bid sheet of at least $50. Artists are encouraged to bring previously created work for display and sale at their painting site and set a price-keep 100% RULES: Artist must be painting the scene surrounding the artist, without the use of photographs. A map of the painting areas will be provided. It includes all of Sacketts Harbor and some of the surrounding area. Permissible media are limited to oil, acrylic, watermedia or pastel. Watermedia must not have ink lines applied to the painting.
